Its been a little over 3 years that I've had my D-800 system and I just wanted to let you guys know how great the workstation is holding up and performing. I have recommended Sonica to everyone I know and always tell them what I went through in finding you. Before I got my D-800 I was going to use what I thought was a decent PC at the time. Someone has to get the word out on how great this combination is. Before I got my D800 with Samplitude I was working with a much lessor Magix audio program and invested a good some of money in some Waves plug-ins for mastering. I did a test today on a project using the mastering tools of Sam against the Waves and as much as I hate to admit it, the Samplitude won hands down."

"I purchased a Sonica X2 late december 2004. Installation of Cubase SX 2/3, Samplitude Pro and DigiDesign LE 6.7 was flawless as well as installation of 98% of my plugins. When I did uncover a problem with one particular set of plugs (same manufacturer) the tech support team at Sonica worked tirelessly with myself and the manufacturer to isolate and resolve the issue. During this period of time I experienced a level of customer service that is all to rare in this day and age. Over the course of Jan/Feb 2005 I had the DAW running everyday while composing and recording all the tracks for my up and coming CD release due out around June/July 2005. During March the system was used to Mix and Master the entire project. For the record the X2 performed silently and perfectly during the entire project. Technical issues never stood in the way of creative empitus and that was precisely why I chose my DAW from the folks at Sonica. I would recommend the X2 DAW systems without hesitation to anyone looking for a top performing, silent DAW from a company who defines customer support. I can't wait to begin recording my next project. Cudos to all at Sonica."

"I've now done several commercial sessions with the system you sold me - and its nothing but great. From a capacity standpoint I can't begin to challenge it, dozens of plugins on a dozen tracks and the cpu breezes along at 10% busy. I transfer tracks to the C: drive for backup and it transfers a gig in just a few seconds. Sonically, the fireface and samplitude add up to "2 inch". Absolutely smooth. As for machine noise, I have the machine in my tracking room surrounded by boxes filled with foam etc, and from a noise floor standpoint its quite manageable - contributing no incremental noise to my tracks as far as I can tell from listening to the room noise floor through various mics. Thanks for working with me on this - I think the measure of a vendor is not so much how the product works when everything is going great, but how the people work with you to get where you need to be when things are not as you did."
